"We were very blessed to have Elaine and Colette come to France. They encouraged us in many ways. During the seminar on the 'Dimension of the Prophetic in Evangelism', organised by the local YWAM base, a number of people from the local evangelical church and from up to 30 miles away were encouraged to step out in Evangelism using the gifts of the Holy Spirit through sound biblical teaching and refreshing testimonies. The church, in whose premises the seminar was held, was encouraged not to hide behind the walls of the building but to be transparent to the people in the town. During ministry times everybody attending received prayer and encouragement through Elaine and Colette. The elders of the church gave a very positive feedback about the seminar and we can already see some of the effects in peoples lives, our translator and one of her daughters had sleeping troubles for most of their lives and reported that these have been less since being prayed for. One young man received the baptism of the Holy Spirit which took him a big step forward in his personal discipleship with the Lord. We are very grateful for everything you are doing and will carry on spreading the Word of God in France for the advancement of His Kingdom.

As a pastor I have been encouraged by the way so many have sensed God leading them into new areas of ministry. The time we gave opportunity for prophetic words to be spoken over and to each other greatly encouraged the fellowship. It is so easy for us as pastors to assume our people have grasped the freedom and truth of body ministry because we have preached on it, but during our time with Elaine it was obvious that the body had not fully grasped this truth. They need a safe space and time to begin to understand and use the gifts given by the Spirit; the school gives the church that opportunity, as well as the teaching that accompanies Elaine's ministry. I am very impressed by your visit to Ukraine. This weekend we have received all that we couldn't get in years of ministering. You have brouight God's love, comfort and the power of the annointing of the Holy Spirit to our Church and for other Church leaders of our city. Everything we were praying and asking God for, it has been realised through the ministry of World Mandate Ministries. Elaine Roberts has been a member of Elim Christian Centre Northampton, England, for many years and we have seen her consistently grow and develop the gifts that God has poured out upon her. She is a woman of no compromise, who loves God dearly and this is reflected in her love of people. Her zeal, determination and passion for the lost and hurting is inspiring and we have seen this replicated hundreds of time in others as they have attended the Ministry Equipping Schools run by World Mandate Ministries. During the late part of 2004, the elders of E.C.C were informed of their senior pastor's decision that it was time to move on in his ministry. After prayer and consultation we asked Elaine whether for a short-time she would be willing to join our leadership team to bring pastoral care and teaching to the fellowship. At great sacrifice Elaine agreed and commenced in January 2005 and was in position until we appointed a new senior pastor in June 2005. Elaine was excellent in her role, bringing teaching, pastoral care, wisdom and insight. She was well received by the body of the church. She is conscientious and diligent in all that she does and was a constant source of encouragement to us as a leadership team. During this six month period we continued to see our church grow, there was stability within the congregation and many lives were challenged as a result of Elaine's ministry. This allowed healing to take place and when our new Pastor took over; the church was prepared for his arrival. We are grateful to Peter, Elaine's husband and the trustees of World Mandate Ministries for releasing Elaine to us during this period, and we commend her ministry to you. The student mission was great for our 'New Church'. New inroads in the Community were gained and peoples awareness of our existence and what we are about increased. The students put on an innovative programme too inspirational not to repeat. Our church also benefited from having two members complete the course and mission both of whom saw a release in ministry giftings. Our young people were ministered to during the mission and it was great to see them equipped and released to share their faith.

For the month of May, Elaine and Peter Roberts of World Mandate Ministries, Northampton, England, ministered in New Zealand in a number of Churches around North Island. They were especially here to speak at 'The Gospel Faith Messenger' Ministry's 2004 Prophetic Conference, which was held at the Hamilton Airport Conference Centre. The theme of the conference was 'Visions, Visions and Dreams,' and the speakers (Rodney Francis, Kerry Wright and Len Buttner, along with Elaine) shared their hearts and experiences of these realms of the Holy Spirit, and how He speaks to us today through these avenues. Numbers of lives were impacted as they looked and listened to the word of God and expected the Holy Spirit to speak to them personally. He did.
After the NZ Conference, Elaine and Peter joined a team of 15 from New Zealand and flew to Kuching, East Malaysia for a six day 'International Training School'. The theme of the ITS was 'Vision, Visions and Dreams' and 'Releasing Spiritual Gifts'. The main speakers were Elaine Roberts, Rodney Francis and Harvey Walker (NZ). It was a marvellous time and all were greatly impacted by the work of the Holy Sprit. I can honestly say that Elaine's ministry in both countries has left a wonderful impression in the lives of those who attended any of her meetings. Her 'down to earth', yet realistic style of 'telling it like it is' was well received. She has been invited back to both countries, and we believe the time will come when she and Peter will return to both.
