No mission is impossible for Our Lord Jesus Christ. As we step out in faith, He is always faithful. And truly God was with us as we went to Peterborough on 7th and 8th March to the Church on the Rock. As Elaine preached the Word of God so powerfully on Friday and Saturday night, many lives were transformed and souls were brought into God’s Kingdom. On Saturday morning we were out on the streets empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Lord was truly at work as so many divine appointments were met. The true gospel took place as a homeless lady was brought back to the church to be cared for both practically and spiritually. To God be the glory. The church had been empowered with a new authority to take the Word of God out of the church and to see that they truly can make an impact for Jesus Christ in their community.
Debbie says..."Cold, damp, windy weekend, but ministry school students and friends were enthusiastic to see God at work on the street. We were not disappointed! Twenty five names and addresses of people reached for the Lord, by the Lord for His Glory and now journeying into relationship with Him. Hallelujah! It was worth it.”
Jackie says ... "Mission to Peterborough was a truly wonderful experience. There were very challenging times and times of great blessing. Members of the church were enthusiastic and after going out on the streets, each one of us had stories to tell of how God had been with us and made many divine appointments with the people He wanted us to reach. Some of these people came to the Saturday night meeting which was incredibly powerful with God’s presence evident, with people committing themselves to Jesus. I feel blessed to have been a part of it.”
