ON A MISSION FOR GOD FOR EVER

The time flew by really quickly during the winter term and before we knew it we had the Mission. I really enjoyed learning more about the God who loves us and gave us a commission to tell others about Him. There was some pressure in organising the actual Weekend, however, I felt very strongly that we were to rely on Gods power and NOT our own. The whole Mission at Thrapston was fantastic. I love to think that people will come to us in Heaven and say, ‘You told me about Jesus and that’s why I’m here’. Then I can reply, ‘It was God’s love through the Holy Spirit and Jesus empowering me that enabled me to tell you’. Then rejoice with them and with Jesus. I especially love to think that we left the church with renewed enthusiasm for spreading Gods love in reaching out to their community. I love the fact that God wants to use us...no matter what. Whether you think you are ‘appropriate’ or not, it’s God who deems your worth, NOT people, and if you place yourself in a position where He can use you, He WILL. I’m grateful to all the students for their efforts. But I’m most grateful to Jesus who took the little I offered and made it into so much more. Praise be to Him who is worthy!!!! Lydia

 The school gave me time to reflect on aspects of ministry through the teaching. To clarify God’s call on my life.  The teaching, ministry time and value for money were all excellent. 

I enjoyed all of it!!  It enhances a sense of fellowship, and learning to be part of a team. The mission that we had to organise made me push my boundaries out of my comfort zone. Excellent. 

The thing I enjoyed most about the school was the mission that we organised.  Working alongside the youth and getting to know new people. I learnt about all aspects of ministry with a greater understanding of what God wants us to do. - Tim

The Ministry Equipping School brought great teaching, making knowing God very normal and down to earth but at the same time raising your level of faith. The Ministry Equipping School is up to date and completely bible based.  I made new friends and learnt more than I could have imagined.  Through this course God will grow you into a stronger person and equip you to do the work Jesus has called Christians to do. - Mark

Mondays 10.00am - 4.00pm or 7.00pm - 10.00pm
