Becoming a Christian
This may seem an unusual link to have on a Web site but we felt that it was important that every person who viewed this site had the opportunity to either know that they are already a Christian or at least become one.
You may ask the question: Isn't a person born a Christian, because their mother, father or grandparents were Christians?
The honest answer to that question is NO. Not even regular Church going will make you a Christian.
Let me take you back to the beginning.
This is a Christian website and as Christians we believe in the personal creation of this whole world by a personal creator called GOD. We too believe that GOD created a perfect world and perfect people called Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve disobeyed a very simple instruction from GOD and as a result, this thing called SIN entered the world. The special relationship that they had with GOD was now broken. With SIN came wars, floods, earthquakes, diseases, murder, stealing and all the bad things that we as humans experience in the world today. SIN separated Adam and Eve from God; it also separated every person born ever since their time from GOD. This is because we all inherited their sin. We inherited it in the same way that we inherit our parent's good look, brains, hair and eye colour.
The BAD NEWS is that the broken relationship broke God's heart.
The GOOD NEWS is that because GOD loved you and me and every person in the whole world, He chose to do something about this separation to re-establish relationship.
YES THAT'S RIGHT "GOD LOVES YOU"
Aren't you so glad that He does?
GOD loves you regardless of what you have done or not done.
You may say to me, "well I have lied", Let me tell you GOD loves you.
"I have stolen", GOD loves you.
"I have slept around". GOD loves you.
"I have even murdered, surely God can't still love me".
The truth is no matter what you have ever done in the whole of your life GOD STILL LOVES YOU.
You see every single person, has fallen short of GOD'S standard and every single person needs GOD'S forgiveness.
If you do not know God's precious love and forgiveness, then TODAY IS YOUR DAY.
You signed onto this website for a purpose.
GOD loved you so very much that He gave His only Son THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, to die for all of your sins.
Today you can ask Jesus Christ to take all your sins away and live in your life and you can re-establish relationship with GOD through Jesus.
THIS IS HOW YOU CAN BECOME A CHRISTIAN. Read on!
1 Back down (humble yourself) and agree with GOD when He says that you have done wrong (sinned).
2 Thank God for sending Jesus to die for your sin on the cross and that He rose again after three days.
3 Tell GOD that you are very sorry for all the bad things that you have done. (Repent)
4 Ask GOD to forgive you for all of those things.
5 Invite God to come into your life to be your LORD and SAVIOUR and ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit.
Before you sign off, consider these statements.
JESUS CHRIST, said these words
"I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John chapter 14 verse 6.
Quite a radical statement don't you think? But you see it had to be that radical to ensure that we could be sure about finding peace with God.
THE BIBLE says For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only Son (that's JESUS CHRIST) that whoever believes in Him (JESUS) shall not perish but have everlasting life. John chapter 3 verse 16.
If you would like to respond to God and receive the free gift of forgiveness of sins, then please do one last thing before you sign off.
You can pray this prayer or something like it and ask God for the forgiveness of your sin.
Dear GOD
I am so sorry for the things that I have done wrong in my life.
I know that I have sinned in my words, my thoughts and my actions.
I repent of these things and choose today to turn from them and all that I know to be wrong.
Thank you for sending Jesus to die on the cross for my sins to set me free.
Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and help me to live a life that is pleasing to you.
